Game Geeks was started by Sanket Nighot and Ayush Yadav in Tezos India Fellowship 2.0. After showcasing their minimum viable product at the fellowship, they received support from Tezos India Foundation and TZ APAC to continue their project.
Game Geeks is a decentralized gaming hub for gamers and game developers. It will be releasing a number of games on the platform and will be powered by the tokenomics of Game Geeks. Gamers can play these games, compete with fellow players, have fun, and also earn some tokens out of it. It will provide game developers with a platform to develop their own games and host them on the Tezos blockchain. The bigger picture that the team is looking at about Game Geeks in the future is to make it a decentralized gaming and gaming NFT hub that almost all games will use.
The Game Geeks platform aspires to build a sustainable, creative, and dynamic platform by introducing the benefits of the Tezos blockchain technology to the gaming sector, which is rapidly expanding in volume and expected to grow to up to $218 billion by 2024.
We at Game Geeks believe that the gaming industry is rapidly growing and now the world has started recognizing it as a mainstream sector where gamers and game developers are now getting the worth they deserve. Here, Game Geeks would want to assist gamers and game creators hone their talents.
